Second largest economy in the world is in a deflationary phase, as the Japanese Cabinet Office announced today. It is the first time since March 2001 that the government said Japan had entered a deflationary phase. “The Japanese economy is in a mild deflationary phase,” the Cabinet Office said today in a report released Friday.
